Prep Enrolment for 2022

At Glen Iris Primary School, we understand that choosing a school which will give your child the best start to their education journey is a big decision.
We endeavour to ensure that every child makes a successful transition to Primary School and that it is a trouble-free and happy experience.
Parent participation and involvement is actively encouraged and appreciated and we welcome the opportunity to show you what Glen Iris Primary School has to offer you and your child.

School Tours

School Tours are now open, and Term 1 tours can be booked here. More dates will be added during the year. 

Children are welcome.

Friday 26 February 9.30am - 10.15am
Tuesday 2 March 9.30am - 10.15am

Enrolment: 

If you are in our school's Enrolment Zone, complete the enrolment form below (either as a fillable pdf or a printable pfd) and email it to the school: glen.iris.ps@education.vic.gov.au. Ideally, this will occur mid-way through the year prior to commencement.

To complete the enrolment process, we will also need copies of your child's birth certificate and immunisation statement from Medicare. These can also be scanned and emailed to us. 

Alternatively, you can post the forms or deliver them to the school.

If your child is already enrolled for 2021, here is an online version of the Prep 2021 Information Sheet which was emailed out on September 18.

We may accept enrolments from outside the zone, depending on in-zone enrolment numbers. 

If you are outside our school zone, please call the school office to discuss the possibility of enrolment. Tel 03 9885 3624.

IMMUNISATION HISTORY STATEMENTS
Please note that as of 28 February 2018, an Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register will be the only form of documentation accepted as proof of a child's immunisation status.
Without a statement showing completed immunisation, your child will not be able to be enrolled in school.
Documents provided by GPs or other immunisation providers will no longer be sufficient as a form of evidence.
Medicare will usually automatically send you an Immunisation History Statement when your child turns 5.
